5″ downpipe back DPF & CAT delete exhaust system.

Vehicle fitment

 – 2015.5 & 2016 Chevy / GMC Duramax Diesel LML. Silverado and Sierra pickup trucks. Crew cab short bed & crew cab long bed. This will not fit the 3500/4500/5500 cab & chassis commercial style trucks.

2015 or 2015.5?

 – 2015 is a split year. The 2011-2015 downpipe is secured to the turbo direct pipe with a v-band style clamp. The 2015.5-2016 uses a 3-bolt flange connection. Be sure to visually verify the clamp style your truck is equipped with.

Exhaust Material

 – Available in aluminized steel or T-409 stainless steel. Aluminized steel is our most popular material, but will develop surface rust over time. T-409 Stainless Steel. Unlike T-304 stainless steel, it is still magnetic. So if you want to test if you really have stainless steel, you should note that a magnet will still stick to it. We recommend the stainless upgrade if you regularly operate your truck on salted winter roads. Use the drop down menu to make your desired selection.

Installation

 – Installation takes about 1 hour with simple hand tools on the floor of your driveway or garage. Faster if you have a vehicle lift. Cutting may be required for shorter wheelbase and cab configurations. Brackets, hangers and hardware are included. You may need to reuse some factory parts.

Fuel Economy

 – Expect a significant improvement in fuel economy. If your DPF is clogged, you’ll probably average about 13-14 mpg. More or less, depending on the severity of the contamination. After removing the DPF/CAT, you can expect a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Larger tires and poor driving habits will push the mileage down.

Tuner required

 – DPF, CAT, SCR and/or DOC removal involves removing and disabling emissions related sensors. A tuner that can clear DPF is required to prevent an engine check engine light or diagnostic trouble codes from being set. If you do not already have a DPF clear tuner, we recommend the EZ Lynk.
