Full Delete Kit for Duramax LML 2011-2015
The 2011-2015 Duramax LML delete kit w/ EFI Live AutoCal V3 tuner is an All-in-One package for GM/Chevy trucks equipped with the 6.6L LML Duramax diesel engine. It combines custom EFI Live tuning with the hardware required for DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR removal in an off-road configuration, allowing the mechanical components and engine calibration to work as one system. The complete bundle includes EFI Live AutoCal V3 with custom delete tuning, your selected DPF delete pipe or 4-inch/5-inch exhaust system, EGR valve and cooler delete hardware, installation components, and optional TCM tuning where selected.
What’s Included
The GM/Chevy Duramax LML delete kit combines the required tuning and supporting hardware in one package, with several exhaust and tuning configurations available depending on the desired setup.
- EFI Live AutoCal V3 Tuner – A flash-and-data device used to load the supplied custom calibration into the ECM. AutoCal V3 also supports data logging, allowing vehicle information to be recorded when required for tuning support or troubleshooting.
- Custom Delete Tuning – Calibration is supplied for the selected LML configuration and modifies the factory DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR control strategies. Available power levels depend on whether the package is ordered with or without TCM tuning.
- DPF Delete Pipe – Replaces the factory DPF and applicable aftertreatment section with a freer-flowing exhaust path.
- 4-Inch Exhaust System – A complete larger-diameter exhaust option for customers who want more than a replacement delete pipe.
- 5-Inch Exhaust System – The largest available exhaust configuration, providing increased exhaust volume and a more aggressive sound compared with the smaller options.
- EGR Delete Kit – Includes the components supplied for removal of the factory EGR valve and cooler assembly and blocking the applicable EGR passages for the intended off-road configuration.
- Muffler Options – Available exhaust packages can be configured with or without a muffler depending on the desired exhaust sound.
- Optional TCM Tuning – Transmission tuning can be selected with the package. Choosing this option also changes the available engine power levels to the TCM-specific calibration set.
The result is an LML full delete kit that combines the tuner, tune, exhaust hardware, EGR components, and supporting parts instead of requiring each item to be purchased separately.
Important Information about EFI Live AutoCal V3 Tuner & Tuning
EFI Live AutoCal V3 works with professionally prepared custom calibration files rather than functioning as a generic canned programmer. The device allows the required vehicle information to be read, the custom tune to be transferred and flashed, and data logs to be recorded when technical support needs additional engine information.
The available engine calibrations depend on the tuning configuration selected when ordering. Without TCM tuning, the package provides Stock, +30 HP, +65 HP, +100 HP, and +130 HP settings. With TCM tuning, the available engine settings are 0 HP, +50 HP, +100 HP, +150 HP, and +200 HP.
The delete kit for LML Duramax 2011-2015 includes the required custom delete tuning for the selected package, so a separate delete tune does not need to be purchased.
When the TCM option is selected, transmission calibration is supplied together with the corresponding engine tune package. The stock file should be saved according to the supplied EFI Live workflow before custom tuning is installed.
Tune Power Settings
The available EFI Live power levels are determined by whether the kit is ordered with or without TCM tuning. This selection must be made when configuring the package because the two versions use different engine power-level sets.
| Tune Level | Without TCM Tuning | With TCM Tuning |
| Stock / Level 0 | Stock | 0 HP |
| Level 1 | +30 HP | +50 HP |
| Level 2 | +65 HP | +100 HP |
| Level 3 | +100 HP | +150 HP |
| Level 4 | +130 HP | +200 HP |
The non-TCM configuration reaches a maximum listed increase of +130 HP, while the TCM tuning configuration provides settings up to +200 HP.
Higher power settings place additional demand on the Allison transmission, turbocharger, fuel system, cooling system, and other supporting hardware. Owners should select a tune based on the condition and configuration of the complete truck rather than automatically choosing the highest available setting.
Key Features
The LML Duramax full delete kit combines the mechanical and electronic sides of the modification. The exhaust system replaces the restrictive factory aftertreatment hardware, the EGR kit removes the valve and cooler components, and EFI Live changes the engine-control strategy to match the modified system.
This coordinated design is important because removing the factory DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR components without the corresponding calibration would leave the ECM expecting emissions systems that are no longer present.
- Two Tuning Configurations – Choose the package with or without TCM tuning according to the desired engine and transmission setup.
- Five Non-TCM Engine Settings – Stock, +30 HP, +65 HP, +100 HP, and +130 HP.
- Five TCM Engine Settings – 0 HP, +50 HP, +100 HP, +150 HP, and +200 HP when the TCM tuning option is selected.
- Up to +200 HP with TCM Tuning – The highest listed engine calibration is available with the TCM tuning configuration.
- Up to +130 HP without TCM Tuning – Customers who do not select the TCM option receive the separate non-TCM calibration range.
- Multiple Exhaust Configurations – Choose a DPF delete pipe, 4-inch exhaust, or 5-inch exhaust depending on the desired setup.
- Complete EGR Hardware – Includes physical EGR valve and cooler removal components instead of relying on tuning alone.
- Custom EFI Live Tuning – Calibration is supplied for the supported LML application rather than using a generic universal tune.
- Data Logging – AutoCal V3 can record engine information that can be used for tuning support and troubleshooting.
- Complete Package – Tuner, tune, exhaust option, EGR components, and supporting hardware are ordered together.
Removing the restrictive factory aftertreatment system can change exhaust flow, engine response, and operating characteristics. However, fuel economy and reliability should not be advertised with a guaranteed MPG or percentage improvement. Actual results depend on engine condition, mileage, selected tune level, transmission condition, tires, gearing, load, maintenance, and driving style.

The 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 LML Duramax delete kit is intended for early-LML Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD pickup applications.
Important for 2015 trucks: GM changed the exhaust connection during the LML generation. The early configuration used on 2011-2014 and early-2015 trucks has a V-band flange, while later 2015/2016 applications use a different 3-bolt flange.
Do not select the kit based only on the registration year if you have a 2015 truck. Check the physical exhaust flange before ordering.
This package is primarily configured for Silverado/Sierra pickup applications. Cab & Chassis trucks can have different exhaust routing, wheelbase-related pipe requirements, and supporting hardware, so C&C fitment should be confirmed separately.

Tuning Requirements
EFI Live AutoCal V3 uses a Windows computer and EFI Live software for the file-transfer and flashing workflow. Save the stock file when instructed and use only the calibration supplied for the specific vehicle.
Stable battery voltage is important during ECM programming. Do not disconnect the AutoCal, shut down the computer, or interrupt the flashing process until programming has been completed.
If TCM tuning is ordered, follow the supplied ECM and TCM programming sequence and use the calibration files provided for that configuration.
Installation Notes
Verify the exhaust connection before beginning installation, particularly on 2015 trucks. This prevents discovering after disassembly that the truck has the later 3-bolt configuration rather than the V-band connection used by the early kit.
Other common difficulties include seized exhaust hardware, restricted access around the EGR cooler, coolant connections, and previous aftermarket modifications.
If you do not have experience with diesel exhaust systems, EGR/cooling-system work, or ECM programming, installation by a diesel/performance shop familiar with LML Duramax trucks and EFI Live is recommended.
