Eliminates the following components (if any) without installing diagnostic trouble codes or a Check Engine light:
Diesel particulate filter (DPF)
Catalytic converter (CAT)
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC)
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR)
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR)
Fuel mileage – Expect a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is clogged, you are probably averaging 13-14 miles per hour. More or less depending on the degree of restriction. After installing the H&S Mini Maxx and removing the DPF/CAT, expect a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Big tires and poor driving habits will reduce mileage.
*2015/2016 Ford – A crankcase ventilation sensor code may appear on some trucks, even if the truck is not equipped with a CCV. This will cause the Check Engine light to come on. The vehicle will run fine, but you will still have the Check Engine and DTC light on. The remote start will not work. Bully Dog BDX does not have this problem.
