Two options available.
1. EFI Live AutoCal w/Tuning & SOTF switch – You will receive a blank AutoCal tuner. A JOT form will be emailed to you to provide your vehicle information. Tuners will be created and emailed within 2-3 business days.
2. tuning only – does NOT include EFI Live AutoCal or the switch. This means you already have AutoCal to download the tuning.
Diesel particulate filter (DPF) – EFI Live AutoCal is a tuner with DPF removal capability. When you install EFI Live, you must remove the DPF. DPF Delete Pipe.
Catalytic Converter (CAT) – We recommend removing the CAT at the same time as removing the DPF.
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) – If installed, DOC can be removed.
Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) – If equipped, SCR can be removed.
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) – EFI Live AutoCal V3 deactivates the EGR system. The EGR valve and EGR cooler can remain installed but disconnected from any wiring harness, or can be completely removed with the EGR removal kit. We recommend complete removal of the EGR system, but either option is possible.
Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) – The 2013+ trucks require DEF as ready to go. This is no longer required with the EFI Live installation. The DEF tank can be removed completely or the wiring harness can simply be disconnected.
Diagnostic Trouble Codes / Check Engine light – EFI Live AutoCal will prevent any DTCs or Check Engine light from appearing. However, if any other problem occurs, you will still be alerted. DTCs can be checked/cleared.
Fuel mileage – Expect a significant increase in fuel mileage. If your DPF is clogged, you are probably averaging about 13-14 miles per hour. More or less depending on the degree of restriction. After installing EFI Live and removing the DPF/CAT, expect a combined mileage of 18-19 mpg. Large tires and poor driving habits will result in lower mileage.
