To tune your 2020-2021 Ford Powerstroke 6.7L Pickup, you will require the following:
- Commander unlock & tuning tool equipped with the Ford harness
- Commander credits (8 credits for 2020-2022 Fords) – [8 Credits for the first truck are included with the device above.]
- Tuning
- Autoflasher Software
For 2022 models, you have two options: you can either utilize a single tune file (+30HP), or you can opt to acquire and swap to a 2021 model year ECM to enable the SOTF (Shift On The Fly) tunes.

Upon receiving your parts, you will need to use the Commander to obtain the ECM, TCM, and Cable serial numbers.

*If you read the ECM through OBD, you will obtain a different serial number compared to reading it directly from the ECM. Providing us with the incorrect serial number may result in the wastage of your credits, necessitating the purchase of an additional 8 credits. It is crucial that you ensure the accuracy of the supplied serial numbers.
Here are the methods to retrieve the ECM serial number:
For 2020-2021 Ford models:
- Connect directly to the ECM connector. The serial number will always begin with “40.”
For 2022 Ford Level 1 (22 ECM only):
- Connect to the OBD port. The serial number will start with “37.”
For 2022 Ford models (ECM swap only):
- Connect to the 21 ECM connector. The serial number will begin with “40.”
To obtain the TCM serial number:
- For all years, connect to the OBD port. The serial number will always begin with “59.”
